Wet Pendulum Testing and Expert Advice
Wet Pendulum Slip Testing is a NATA accredited service that is recommended for any floor surface that is likely to be contaminated with a liquid substance such as rain or accidental spillage. Wet pendulum testing involves the use of a portable machine that consists of a pendulum slider, a weighted base and a measurement arc. This machine allows us to test the slip resistance of a surface under a wide variety of environmental circumstances by determining the exact measure of friction between the device’s test ‘foot’ and the floor ‘s surface. Because wet pendulum testing can be conducted on already installed flooring, it can measure any change in slip resistance over a period of time, enabling us to monitor the slip risk and advise on preventative measures wherever necessary.
At All Slip Solutions we only use the very best in wet pendulum slip testing equipment that follow Australian Standards and are backed by NATA accreditation.
Wet pendulum test machinery operators obtain formal training under a strictly controlled program to ensure that each test is reliable and its results are analysed correctly.
