Protecting the public and its clients from any perceived threat, harm or risk
Our Slip management programme (SMP) is designed as a tool to demonstrate an entities responsibilities to perform its Duty of care and engagement in being pro active in protecting the public and its clients from any perceived threat, harm or risk.
The SMP involves one of our experienced accredited technicians visiting the individual property on a quarterly basis after treatment and compliance to the relevant Australian Standard. At this visit they will examine and scrutinise all the independent surface types and their individual environments. After this a report will then be generated to that end. A full audit of the property will be performed annually as per the above and a Slip test to all areas or as required by the Client.
At each inspection It will be ascertained if any areas may not comply due to contamination, extraordinary wear due to high traffic or any other environmental conditions.
If it is felt, after inspection, an area may not comply a wet pendulum slip test to AS 4663-2013 will be performed to each surface under the SMP and added as an addendum to the Report.
You, as the client, will be notified in the SMP Report, within five (5) business days of the inspection being performed, of any surface that does not comply. If rectification work is required this will be noted in the forwarded report to you.
